Alternatives

Silvertrac alternatives in 2026

Silvertrac now sits under the Trackforce brand, next to TrackTik. You do not have to move, but a brand change is a sensible moment to check whether the product still fits. This page lists the realistic options, staying put included, using what each vendor publishes about itself. Patrol Tech, our parent company, is on the list with its cons.

Do you actually need to move?

Probably not today. Trackforce has owned Silvertrac since January 2020. In 2026 it unified TrackTik, GuardTek and Silvertrac under the Trackforce brand, and silvertracsoftware.com now redirects to trackforce.com. For existing customers, Trackforce says there is nothing to migrate or reinstall and that current agreements stand.

What changes is who decides where the product goes. Trackforce describes "one roadmap" across its platforms and says branding and product names may change behind the scenes, with notice. The old Silvertrac pricing URL now lands on the TrackTik quote page.

The reasons to look elsewhere are practical: you need something Silvertrac does not do, you want published pricing, you operate outside the US, or you would rather not tie your patrol records and your renewal to a roadmap you do not control. If none of those apply, staying is a reasonable answer.

The options

  • Stay on Silvertrac (Trackforce)

    Best for
Small security companies whose Silvertrac setup covers guard tours, reporting and dispatch, with nothing forcing a change
    Strengths
No migration: Trackforce says existing environments keep running and agreements stand. Unlimited checkpoints with step-by-step instructions, GPS and geofencing, automated Daily Activity Reports, dispatch tasks, parking management and a client portal. No contracts, monthly payments and a personal success manager.
    Cons
The roadmap is now shared across Trackforce products and product names may change. No price figures on the Silvertrac page. Offline operation is not described. Certifications are stated at Trackforce level; confirm they cover Silvertrac.
  • TrackTik (Trackforce)

    Best for
Silvertrac customers who have outgrown it and want scheduling, payroll, billing and business intelligence from the same vendor
    Strengths
Offline-capable guard app with GPS, NFC and QR checkpoints; dispatch and command center; AI-assisted scheduling; payroll preparation; billing and contracts; ReportPro AI for incident writing. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 & 27017 listed. Priced by sites, not seats.
    Cons
Quote only, no published figures. A different product from Silvertrac, so plan for implementation and data migration, which Trackforce lists as services. Same owner, so it does not reduce vendor dependence.
  • Patrol Tech (our parent company)

    Best for
Operators who only need patrol proof and want published pricing, a free tier that does not expire, and patrols that keep working without signal
    Strengths
Pricing published in full: Free $0, Pro $29, Business $79 per month. Officers unlimited on every plan; billing is per checkpoint. Permanent free tier: 5 checkpoints, 1 site, 2 dashboard users, 30 days of history. QR and digitally signed NFC checkpoints, incident capture with photo. Offline end to end, syncing when coverage returns. An AI agent in WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack or Microsoft Teams that answers questions and takes actions, included on the free plan, plus MCP access. Time and attendance, visitor management and a client portal. SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and ENS certified. Self-serve, no demo required.
    Cons
No invoicing and no parking module; dispatch and scheduling are workforce management, in beta on the Business plan only, as are Man Down and facial verification. Bluetooth beacons are on the roadmap. Disclosure: Patrol Tech publishes this site.
  • Belfry

    Best for
US guard companies that want scheduling, timekeeping, payroll and billing in one system, plus help chasing missed clock-ins
    Strengths
Scheduling with shift offers, timekeeping with geofencing, payroll with direct deposit and tax filing, billing with ACH and card payments. Guard tours on NFC tags or geofences, post orders confirmed at clock-in, client portal, closest-officer dispatch. Belle AI Dispatch follows up missed clock-ins and other shift exceptions; Belle AI Assistant answers questions about your own Belfry data.
    Cons
No price figures published; billed per employee per month, so the bill follows headcount. Demo-led, with no free plan or self-serve trial advertised. Belle AI Dispatch and Belfry Recruiting are paid add-ons. QR checkpoints and offline operation are not mentioned on the pages reviewed. Payroll, tax and ACA features are built for US employers.
  • GuardsPro

    Best for
Contract security companies that want dispatch, invoicing and a client app, with per-user prices they can see before calling
    Strengths
Published per-user pricing: Essential $5, Advanced $8 and Professional $10 per user per month on monthly billing, lower on annual billing, starting at 3 users. 30-day free trial. Add-on modules for scheduler, payroll, dispatcher, vehicle patrol, visitor manager, invoicer and parking manager. Client app, GPS tracking history and geofencing.
    Cons
Billed per user, so the bill follows the roster. Add-on modules are priced separately from the base plan. The free offer is a trial, not a permanent tier. Offline operation is not mentioned on the pages reviewed.
  • QR-Patrol

    Best for
Operators who want QR, NFC and Bluetooth beacon checkpoints, lone-worker safety features and an AI assistant they can also reach from Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini
    Strengths
Published per-guard pricing: Base from $3.20, Pro from $6.15 and Gold from $11.10 per guard per month. QR, NFC and beacon checkpoints on every plan. Man Down alerts, welfare check and face verification on Pro and Gold. Built-in AI Assistant that answers questions and performs supported actions, plus MCP access from Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini.
    Cons
Billed per guard in brackets, so the bill follows headcount; the smallest bracket (1-3 guards) is 59 USD per month on Base, billed monthly. Time and attendance and the Actions Log are Gold-only. Offline operation is not described on the pages reviewed.
  • GuardMetrics

    Best for
Operators who want reporting, patrol proof, scheduling, timekeeping and dispatch in one platform, and are comfortable getting pricing from a demo
    Strengths
Positions itself explicitly as a Silvertrac alternative. Its comparison page lists incident reporting, Daily Activity Reports, patrol proof, dispatch, scheduling, timekeeping, compliance, post orders, supervisor review and client-ready reporting in one connected platform.
    Cons
No pricing on the pages reviewed. Offline operation is not advertised. The breadth means more to configure than a patrol-only operation needs.

Man Down is generally available on Pro and Gold, and beacons are on every plan. Patrol Tech has Man Down in beta on the Business plan and beacons on the roadmap.

Sites that lose signal

Patrol Tech or TrackTik
